An Introduction to Year of a Lifetime

crayon fenceAre you wondering what Year of a Lifetime is about?

I’ve  now been online for over 22 years and active on the Internet for 15 years. Much of my own success I can directly attribute to those who have openly shared information and from modeling my own businesses after other successful entrepreneurs. Earlier this year, I made a commitment that 2010 would be about giving back to the online business community in the best possible way.  It is through this site, Year of a Lifetime, that I will do this.

I’ve observed that there are a lot of people that want the “Internet lifestyle” – the Four Hour Work Week that Tim Ferris made popular. The challenge for many is that they just don’t know what it takes to get there. It’s not necessarily about working harder but about working smarter.

Many people fall into 1 of 2 traps: They either can’t find something that generates income at all or they seem to hit an income ceiling and can’t seem to move past it. They often find that they can’t get away from working insane hours.

Through blog posts that will be open to the public on this web site, available through RSS feeds and offered via email updates, I’ll be sharing with you what I know about building 6, 7 and 8 figure online businesses that can give you the lifestyle you are after.

The Free Content

.

In some of these blog posts, I’ll be letting you watch over my shoulder as I build new businesses. You’ll get to read, hear and watch about the decisions I make, why I decide to do certain things and how exactly I go about doing them.

In other posts, I’ll be sharing insights on business and marketing strategy, personal development, leadership and systematization.

I’ll also be bringing on guest contributors to give input on specific topics.

All of this information will be available for free so that I can help as many people as I can.

The YOAL Coaching Program

.

I am also offering an exclusive coaching program that will have a nominal fee.  This program will consist of a year of solid content to help participants build a business that will truly help them reach their own personal objectives. Each week new content will be offered along with blueprints to make implementation much easier. There will also be regular Challenges to encourage participants to take action.

On a monthly basis, participants will be able to attend 2 live calls. One call will be a question and answer one. Participants can submit questions relating to their business they need assistance with. The second monthly call will feature a dynamic guest who will be providing insight into a specific area of focus. All calls will be available for download.

Participants will also have access to a members-only forum for networking, discussing modules and for seeking advice in between calls.

Which Is Right For You?

.

Look – I’d love to say that anyone with an Internet business or considering starting one is perfect for the YOAL coaching program, but I know that is not the case.

Participating in the coaching program will require both a commitment of time and money. Although the cost of the program is low, some people will have a problem with that. For most people, dedicating the time to follow the program will be more of an issue.

If you decide the group coaching isn’t right for you, then I highly recommend you get my free email updates. (You can sign up at the box on the right hand side.) This way you’ll receive notification when new content is available at the site.

Here Are Some Things to Consider About YOAL Group Coaching

.
  • This program is best suited to those of you that are entrepreneurs or professionals who are hitting the wall – working too many hours and not seeing the financial pay-off .
  • If you want to start an Internet-based business and learn the mechanics before you dive in, this program will help you. What it won’t do is tell you what business is right for you. You will learn techniques that will help you research and create businesses. The decision of what business to start will be in your hands.
  • You will see benefits but only if you actually review the material, do the assignments and take action. This program does not work by osmosis. You actually do have to work.
  • You should be able to commit between 2 and 5 hours per week to the program to derive maximum benefit.
  • No one will be on your case if you don’t do the work. Self-motivation is crucial.
  • You can follow the program at your own pace. All materials released will be available to you as long as you remain on the program.

You can join the program at any time, however significant early bird discounts are being offered.  The longer you wait, the more the program will cost.
