First, let me share a bit of my background. I grew up in a pretty poor area of Montreal – what many would call the wrong side of the tracks. We had lots of love in our home but for most of my childhood and teenage years, there wasn’t much else. I started working at 16 while still in school.

I have 2 memories that aren’t so nice. I changed to a private school for my final 2 years of high school. Saying it was really difficult for me given where I came from was an understatement. Fast forward to when I was in university and I was in my first serious relationship with someone from a very wealthy family. I went to business school – Concordia University (now John Molson School of Business) in Montreal, Canada. My specialization was in finance. I have over 20 years of online business experience. Here’s What the Program Includes

Each week, you’ll gain access to a new training module that will cover one or more topics focused on helping you grow your business.

For the past several years, almost all of the one-on-one consulting work I’ve done has been for $1,000+ an hour. It doesn’t really make sense for me to charge less than that since I can earn more than that working on my own businesses. Clients have gladly paid me what I charge because I produce results.

Here’s what I worked out…. between the materials, calls and forum support, you’ll have access to around 220 hours of my time over the year. I live in Ontario, Canada where the minimum wage is currently $9.25. That works just over $2000. Let’s call it $1997 to keep it under the $2,000 mark.

But Sharon….

Since I’ve been gradually sharing this program with others, I’ve been hearing every excuse under the sun. Let me address some of them here:

A. I don’t have the time for a year long program

The point of this program is to save you time. Each week will require from 2 and 5 hours between time spent on the material, completing challenges and implementing what you learn in your business. During the first month, we will be covering some techniques to help you save time you are currently wasting. As we progress, you’ll find out how to delegate effectively so that by the end of the year, you’ll find yourself with more free time than ever.

B. I need to spend all my time on learning how to market and generate more leads

Can you tell me who told you this ludicrous idea? A marketing guru perhaps? Just one of my businesses last year generated over 14 million dollars in quoted business. I have one source of leads for that business – it is on auto-pilot. Knowing how to market is just one component of building a business that can generate 6 and 7 figures a year. It’s actually the easy part once you figure some things out. Building a business and the infrastructure to support it is what will take your business to the next level.

C. It’s cheaper to do it all myself and learn from free sources

Absolutely. But do you really want to spend your time doing that?  Life is always a series of trade-offs. You can spend time over the next year continuing to learn how to do everything that needs to get done in your business and every year after spending time on things you don’t really like. Or you can spend time over the next year learning how to develop a business that will give you freedom of time and money for years to come.

D. I’ve spent thousands on learning how to do different things online, I don’t see how this is anything different from what I’ve seen

Let me ask you: has what you learned before produced results for you? Are you making the money you want? Do you have the free time that you want? If not, there is some gap between the knowledge you have and your application – that’s assuming what you’ve learned is right. There will be different parts of the program that will not be new to everyone that takes it.

But this isn’t a program focused on one business topic. We look at virtually every aspect of developing and managing an online business. It is an integrated approach. For example, we’ll look at membership sites as one way to develop a recurring revenue stream. You’ll learn the ins and outs of what is involved to know if it is right for you. The way the work is delegated, the promotion of the site and everything else, is entirely integrated with the rest of what you learn.

E. I like having my own business, but I don’t want to manage people

Where you delegate work is in those areas that are not what you are best at. We’ll go through how to find people that love the work you aren’t so good at. You’ll find out how to pick the right people for each type of work.

I’ll give you an example: I have a personal assistant, Tressa, who has now been with me for almost 11 years. She handles most of my email communications. She chases after clients with overdue bills.

I am awful with keeping a day planner for appointments. The thing is – I don’t need to. She books my appointments. She reminds me of everything and makes me look great in the process.

Tressa basically frees me from having to do many things I really don’t like doing and shouldn’t be spending my time doing. Our work flow has gotten to the point where she just needs to send me 2 emails a day that summarize everything I need to be aware of and input she may need from me to deal with.

She loves her job. She works from home, works flexible hours. She’s been able to relocate without worry of finding new work.

F. I want to wait until I know that people are seeing results with the program first

I’m “out there” in the community. I am considered one of the most influential users on Twitter. If I somehow screw this up, people will talk.
